the mobile font for this dreamwidth is futura. body, header, subheading, all of it... i like futura. it was the font i picked for my kindle when i was a little kid. it's sleek and blocky, which appeals to my aesthetics. also, it's a vampire weekend lyric—"she wouldn't know the word 'bombs' blown up to 96-point futura"—but i think they might be cancelled now, but i still think their lyrics are good, but i haven't read the new ones because i don't want them to be really good, which would hurt my feelings.
i can't download futura on google docs, but i downloaded a free bootleg one caled 'jost' that is close enough. if i ever had a text tattoo and had to get it in a standard typography, i would get it in futura, but honestly i feel like all fonts for tattoos are inherently cheugy, and if i realistically got one it would be in my own handwriting. i feel like most people should get text tattoos in their own handwriting.
for now i don't want one, but if i did it would be a lyric from the musical cabaret.
